last day in Oregon

The last day in Oregon we packed up and headed to Portland. We saw the Chinese garden in downtown Portland and then headed to the airport. Sean didn't take long to pass out, he had a busy week.

Going on a motor boat

For our last full day in Oregon we decided to go on a boat. It was warm and a great day. We were surprised at how big the lake was and loved seeing all of the nice houses around the lake. Sean was concentrating hard on figuring out what all was happening. He loved it, especially watching the waves the boat was making. About halfway though he was overloaded with what a new thing this was, and needed milk and a nap.

Going to the park at the lake

Lincoln city has a great park right by the Lake. We went their almost every day. Sean loved the slide and the swings.

This is just one more clip to put in with Aaron at the beach

Trip to the Oregon Aquarium

We all made a trip to Newport to the Aquarium. Sean touched a stingray and a sea cucumber and we all enjoyed all the fish

I owe Aaron a chocolate bar

Aaron kept saying he could throw a cheap frisbee from my parents house to the beach. I figured with the winds and the distance their would be now way. Not only did he do it once, but 4 times, one time almost to the water. You can't see the frisbee, but you can see the distance

Sean and Natalie are pals

Sean is getting to the age where he can play with others. Both Sean and Natalie were like brother and sister to each other during the vacation and played really well with each other.

Trip to Oregon to see Sean's Grandma and Grandpa!

Becky and Mark and their two kids Natalie and Everrett came over to the beach as well. Here is some pictures of fun at the house.

Seaworld has a new play area for little kiddo's!!!

our playgroup went today and tried it out. Sean especially liked the water spouts.

Aaron got a new toy!

Aaron sold a boogie board and received some money from his parents for teacher appreciation week. He decided it would be nice to have some instruments around the house. He bought a box drum. It makes a great bass sound, but also can play some higher sounds depending on where you hit it.

Dahlia's are blooming

My mom and I planted bulbs around valentines day. The first Dahlia's are up and beautiful. They are taller than Sean as you can see, and the blooms are as big as grapefruit!

Emma's birthday

We had a lot of fun today at Emma's birthday! She had a Princess and Pirate themed party with pony rides! Then we went back to Aunt Molly's place and went swimming. Eric and the kids came down so it was special.

Anne's birthday dinner and our Anniversary date

We treated Anne and Adrian to dinner for Anne's birthday. We went to Jakes by the ocean. The boys dressed up in their surf shirts and we had a fun time. Sean wore out early and fell asleep on the way home. Anne and Adrian stayed with Sean while Aaron and I went out to see Indiana Jones to celebrate our Anniverary. Sean was asleep the whole time, so the babysitters had an easy job!
