Going solo on the train

Most choo choo trains that kids ride have an engine seat where their is only enough room for a kid, no space for mom. I knew Sean would love to be up front at the engine, but wasn't sure if he was okay going alone. I tried it today, and not only did he like it, but he looked so proud of himself, and had his arms back like he was kicking back relaxed (click on the image so you can see how proud of himself he is) . He was beaming with pride, even the lady who ran it got a kick out of him..

Auto museum and air and space museum

The 4th Tuesday of every month the Auto Museum and the Air and Space Museum are free to San Diegans. I had never been, but since Sean is into anything that moves we decided to go. The Auto museum had a motorcycle he could get on. But the rest were very tempting cars to touch that you couldn't, so not for Sean.

The air and space was better for a toddler, and a lot to look at. They had Apollo 9 their which was pretty cool.

Playing at the park

Music Class

My Mom and Dad came to the music class and took these pictures. Sean is showing Grandma how to march.

Emma's Birthday Party

Sean and Aaron went to Emma's birthday party. They had a petting zoo, ponies, a bouncy room and a magician. Sean had a blast.

The Birch Aquarium

Here's Sean and his friend Jake being eaten by a Shark.

Best Buds

I babysat the next door neighbor kid Bruno for a couple times. Bruno is a year older than Sean, and Sean looks up to him like he's the cool kid.

Hudson's birthday party

Hudson had his 2 year old birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Sean was in total bliss for 2 hours. I had to leave with him kicking and screaming he loved it so much.

Sleeping with buddies

Sean has a monkey, bear, lion and octopus he sleeps with. I think he has preference to the monkey, but he loves to cuddle with them

The angry face

We've been talking about different emotions. So far Sean has the angry face down...

Sean loves baseball

We got Sean a T-ball to play with, and he loves to hit the ball. He'll even watch baseball on TV pretty well. Maybe we have a future ball player in our family. If so, looks like he'll be a lefty!

Molly's Neighborhood Fair

Emma was in a parade, so Anne and our family joined Molly's family to watch the parade and enjoy the parade. Sean had a ball!

Emma's Baseball game

A week ago we went to see Emma's baseball game. Sean loves baseball, and for the last couple of weeks, has been saying "Emma Ball" over and over again to me. Sean loved the game.... and the corndog....

Dad's Shirt

One day little man, you'll be a big boy like Daddy...

Monkey See, Monkey Do

Sean is turning 2 before 2. Today he tried to eat the excess soap out of the dishwasher, ripped the downstairs door screen and the above picture threw a newly broken blind off of the banister. A week ago a blind broke unintentionally, so I threw it off the banister to throw it away. Today Sean intentionally broke it, so he could huck it off the banister..... Sigh

Buttercrunch Lettuce

Our Garden is starting to burst with life. Here is our Buttercrunch lettuce. Yum!
