Sean turns two

As you can see our little boy is growing up before our eyes. Today is his official second birthday even though we had his party for family and friends this past Sunday. As you can see he is really growing up in many ways and has become such a little character. His confidence in learning to do new things is amazing to watch, and like most two year olds he wants to do everything on his own without any help. Mary Ann took some pictures of him today and we are going to start charting his height on a wall in our garage. Today is a lazy day and we are opening a few presents and enjoying Aaron's last day of vacation on another beautiful 75-80 degree day in San Diego.

Sean's 2nd Birthday Party!

Sean was ready for his birthday party. For a week or more he's been singing to me the Happy Birthday song and talking about balloons and cake. I think when the moment came, the presents overwhelmed him, but he still had a blast. We held it at the Community Pool right by our house and Had Molly's family, Nana and Grandpa, and 4 of his friends with parents join us. We had salads and pizza (next time I'll buy more pizza) and a Curious George Theme. All of the kids loved the swimming and it seemed like a good time for all. When I put Sean down for a nap, he was asleep on the first song I sang, a first!

4th of July

For 4th of July we went to the park by Anne and Adrians house for a 4th celebration. In the evening we went to a BBQ at a friends house that was 3 blocks from the beach. Sean saw his Fireworks which he loved and was unsure of all at the same time....

Fun at the Fair

Right after we got back from our trip to Hawaii we went to the County Fair. We thought Sean might be still too young to ride the rides, but they had some rides he loved. He especially loved the semi truck ride. We saw all the animals, and Sean loved the Monster Trucks.
