Sean is Officially walking!

Sean is so fortunate to have 9 (soon to be 10) cousins. Here is Sean with Josh, Emma, and Cameron at their Nanna and Grandpa's house for dinner.

Multitasking

Now instead of counting how many steps Sean takes, we are counting how many times he crosses the room. He must be getting some confidence in his walking because he likes to multitask.

Sean is 10 months today

He's almost walking, learned to clap, can play peek a boo and has started understanding words like open and close, all done, daddy, mommy, night night.

Mr. Fernandes Class

Mr. Fernandes class practiced really hard to make their 1st grade play. It really paid off, they had a wonderful performance. Here they are as fruit bats. And below is two of his students pretending to be Michael Jackson.

Sean's friends birthday at Gymboree

Sean's friend Ryan had his first birthday, so we went to Gymboree for his party. Sean looked like he had found mecca when he first arrived. He was ear to ear smiling and didn't know where to start with all the things to do. Then he burned out and needed milk. He got enough energy after milk time for a little more playing. By the end you could tell he was happy and delirious with so much stimulation. He showed to all of his friends how he learned how to clap. His other friend Hudson had just learned to kiss (open mouthed of course) so he was giving us all kisses. Good times.

Fun Run and Salt Creek

Salt Creek Elementary had a fun run\walk today. Sean had a

lot of fun meeting all the kids. Here is Sean showing them how he's just learned to clap!

We decided we didn't need our home phone and would just use our cell phones. When I called to cancel, they offered me a deal where they would give us faster internet, more tv stations, HD channels, and keep our phone for $24 a month cheaper! They don't even have that deal on the internet. It pays to threaten to quit...

Sr. Fernandes Class went on a Field Trip

They went to Cabrillo Natl. Monument and the tidepools. Perfect weather for going outside!

Birch Aquarium

Today our playgroup met at the Birch Aquarium. I think Sean was more into looking at the other kids, than the fishies...

Mother's Day

Aaron was so great to me today for my first Mother's Day. Sean woke up at 5am, and he went and took care of him so I could sleep in. Then he gave me an orchid, chocolates and a book. Then he made me strawberry waffles. Pretty good stuff....

Dad's Keyboard

We decided to let Sean play with Aaron's computer. He might be a heavy metal rocker in the future, because I think they are the only musicians that stand on their instruments.

Aaron's Soccer team

Aaron coaches a 4th, 5th, and 6th co-ed team with a couple other teachers. Sean and I came down and put up our sun tent to enjoy the game. They ended up winning 3-1
