Legoland

Notice Sean is making his car sound while he's on his "Harley"

Legoland has a deal, $60 for a year membership if you only go on Thursdays. So Sean and I went today to try it out. He road on a boat, train and airplane, and played on a splash area and a lot of playgrounds. We didn't get to it all, but it looks like a good place to spend our time this year!

Sean and Aaron

harrassing the neighbors dogs

Sean loves to go over to the neighbors house and harass their 2 bulldogs.

Sean is 13 months

Our favorite family place this summer

A couple blocks from our house is our community pool. It has a great splash zone for Sean, and awesome waterslides for Aaron and I. We've been going every weekend!

Birthday party for Sean's twin friends Jack and Luke

Sean has friends that are twins that just turned 1, Jack and Luke. They live in the Rancho Santa Fe area, a swanky place. Notice the Rolls Royce in the driveway. They had pony rides, BBQ and swimming, Sean had a bunch of fun today with his playgroup pals.

changes in our house!

In late june we had our wood floor ripped out and carpet put in our main rooms. We also had tile put in our kitchen and entry. Also yesterday we had our french doors that leaked when it rained replaced with a sliding door. I already love opening it up to get the cool night air in without worrying about bugs coming in.

The Dancing Machine!!

Lately Sean has been showing a twitch to dance. He's good at shaking his hips and twirling around. He'll even go to the cd player and start dancing to let me know he's in the dancing move. Check out some of his moves!

Horse Races

We decided to brave the crowds last Saturday and see the horse races. We also went to see a Ziggy Marley concert also at the races that we heard was starting at 5:30. Ziggy didn't start until 7:45 though, too close to bedtime, so we were on our way out. You would think that horse races would bring an elite crowd, but instead it brings people that look like thugs. As my friend Jo put it, "I've never seen so many ugly tattoos on ugly people."
